Gilmarí Gerena Riquelme

(1981, Bronx , NY)  Gilmarí Gerena is a Puerto Rican artist living in Barcelona; ​​daughter of a painter and poet mother and a leading social activist father. She is totally dedicated to her passion: music; working for GG, her personal project, which produces, composes and sings her own compositions. In addition, she works in other musical groups of different styles in modern music and jazz.

Besides pursuing music, Gilmarí has an extensive training in other branches of art, such as theater, architectural design, dance and jewelry. She has worked with various artists from these disciplines in and outside Spain, such Antonio 'El Topo' Caban Vale, Adeán Caban, Myrna Renaud, Marcel.lí Antúnez, Andreu Carandell, Àlex Martínez, Monica Green, Naxo Giriti, among others.

She is currently taking private lessons with different music professionals for improvement.

- Contemporary Jewelry Studies, School of Arts i Crafts, Industrial University of Barcelona.

- Dance studies in different centers and schools in New York, Puerto Rico and Barcelona.
